Our current research agenda emphasises five main areas:
Chemically Defined Media
In partnership with Anthrocell and other partners we are working to develop chemically defined media for the ACX(r) platform that is optimized for growth and production of IGG proteins.
Bioprocess Scale-Up for ACX(r)
In partnership with Anthrocell we are working to scale up the process of producing and purifying IGG proteins using ACX(r) to 25L bioreactor volumes.
Manipulation of immune response
Manipulation of immune response, with a particular focus on inflammatory and auto-immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease.
