Dr. Kaseko chairs the Hybridoma Technology and Antibody Gene Manipulation session at the BIT Life Sciences’ 2nd Annual International Congress of Antibodies
In recognition of the significant advances made in hybridoma technology at SSRI, and its relevance to antibody gene manipulation, Dr. Galina Kaseko was invited to chair the Hybridoma Technology and Antibody Gene Manipulation session at the BIT Life Sciences’ 2nd Annual International Congress of Antibodies in Beijing, China, on 24 March 2010.
In addition to chairing the session, Dr. Kaseko took the opportunity to speak about some of the latest research findings at the Institute, concerning the improvement of antibody yields and cell growth in human hybridoma. The Institute’s pioneering investigations, combining intelligent engineering with progressive science and a meticulous attention to detail, are paving the way for new approaches to the furtherance of research in this field.
Dr. Kaseko was joined by Drs Pamela Holzlöhner and Katrin Messerschmidt, Research Fellows at Potsdam University, Germany, who spoke about their experience stimulating immune response in vitro, as well as their unique approach to the selection of antibody producing cells.
